While pursuing his degree and gaining exposure to the law, instilled in him the critical and analytical understanding of the legal system. Today, as a lawyer of the criminal justice initiative, he has worked on several cases of prison rights and rights of under trials. In a recent case, he successfully fought for the immediate release of a transgender individual undergoing gender reassignment surgery who was implicated in the women's prison.
